He is one of Canada's small group of Inuit Elite Master carvers!
He has finally retired and he will be missed.

When you see a carving with protuberant red eyes, 99.9% of the time it is a Jimmy carving.
Next, a spectacular RED tongue..
This tongue is one of the most realistic in Inuit carving.
The lower fangs are the finishing touch.
Jimmy's style is on the line between Realism and Abstraction.
Storm's head is proportionately larger than a real bear and the outline of his mouth and eyes are also more Abstract.
Clients love Jimmy's ability to step outside the box.
Storm's army green colour and subtle diagonal stripes are stunning.
Jimmy "harvests" this green stone from the Sanikiluaq region.
Soon there will be no Jimmy Iquluq carvings in the Galleries since he is no longer carving.
