Ning Ashoona is a beloved female Inuit carver.
Well known for her elegant swans and loons, every stone she touches turns to GOLD!
So it comes as no surprise, that ABOUT FACE has the magical Ashoona touch.
About Face has the head of a bird on one side and the head of a human/shaman on the other.
Within Inuit Animism, horns indicate a Shaman.
Both Shamans and Sednas are capable of .Transformations.
Ning's human has a green horn projecting from the forehead and a beautiful green circular tattoo on his cheek.
The Bird has big green inlaid eyes.
These common features remind us that the two entities share a bond.
This green stone is not native to Dorset where Ning resides.
The Inuit carvers will often search for precious stone to detail their pieces.
