Vintage Masterpiece! Museum quality Carving!

We are so fortunate to have recently acquired some VINTAGE Inuit carvings from the 70s and 80s.

Tukiki Manomie, Ishuhungituk Etungat, Ashevak Tunnillie and Tommy Takpanie Sr are some of the past artists awarded the prestigious RCA award (Royal Canadian Academy of Arts) for their stone carvings.

How proud would you be to have a vintage carving from an Inuit artist deemed to be an important contributor to the visual arts in Canada?

CROUCHING TIGER is over 40 years old.

Vintage pieces like Crouching Tiger can be timeless.

Their design is as fresh and energetic as if they were carved yesterday!

Crouching sits on the packed Arctic snow, arms tight to his body, holding in his body heat.

His pose is than of a child, adding innocence to the piece.

The brilliant “neon” green stone sparks hope that Crouching will soon be home, where he will be safe and warm.

This is a rare opportunity to expand your collection with a historical Inuit carving.

Manomie's works were highly regarded by the Royal Canadian Academy of Art as fine examples of Inuit sculptures.

I could see this piece someday making its way into a national art gallery or museum.
