Masterpiece Carving! Museum quality Sculpture!

Ning Ashoona is the only active female carver in Cape Dorset.

Loons are her signature carving but I was able to obtain this incredible Swan for my clients.

Swans are large imposing birds.

Ning captures the size of the wings with a subtle but effective bulge on the sides of Her Highness' torso.

The neck is also longer which distinguishes this piece from a goose. Its arched posture is exceptionally dramatic.

The stone colours are obviously one of the most magnificent features of the carving. 

I see this sculpture and I can feel its quiet movement through the water.

Her Highness is one of Ning's most beautiful carvings.

She has grace and elegance.
