Engaging Personality!
If carvings sizes were categorized like the sizes of dogs, then SILHOUETTE would be considered a TEACUP!
These petite pieces (whether they be Inuit carvings, dolls or any decorative art) are sought after by large numbers of collectors.
Silhouette's "toes and fingers" are unusual.
The space between the claws are etched just enough to expose the underlying gray stone.
The unfinished stone is an endearing contrast to the sheen finish on the dark green stone.
It is astonishing how much talent is required to carve these perfect small bears.
In the Gallery, we often partner these tiny bears together.
Suddenly, an energy exists between the bears which is endearing and joyful.
