WALKABOUT is touched with the magic chisel of Henry Evaluardjuk.

Walkabout's right leg is stretched out, with the foot high off the ground.

Is this the normal gait of a bear that is walking OR has Henry taken artistic license?

Henry has now carved a Dancing and Walking bear!!

A Dancing bear has at least one of its appendages suspended in the air.

Walkabout is now balancing on one foot and two paws instead of all four appendages.

Also, by extending his right leg, Walkabout is proudly showing off his gorgeous muscular leg.

Henry's SIGNATURE bears were always mean and lean; the faces and muzzles were also longish and immaculately detailed.

The warm pea green colour is the precise colour to allow the art enthusiast to appreciate every aspect of Henry's magical Walkabout.

Henry Evaluardjuk RCA (1923-2007) was one of the best Inuit carvers in Modern Inuit history.

Henry's pieces are very difficult to obtain.

This is an auspicious day.

This is the day you met Walkabout, Evaluardjuk's rare Dancing and Walking bear.
