Safe on her ice floe, she relaxes into the warmth of the "eye of heaven", the Sun..

Walruses are large and rotund.

But Nuveeya has blessed Worshipping with a long, lithesome body.

Her contours are soft and rounded.

She gazes up at the sky with her big round inlaid eyes.

Even her sharp tusks can't diminish her gentle nature.

Nuveeya was the father of Seepee Aipellee and the grandfather of Jamie.

His work has a "je ne sais quoi" which captures the spirit and energy of each of his beloved Arctic animals
