**Jonasie Faber SIGNATURE Muskox Circle carving
Magnificent Carving! Museum quality Sculpture!
I am entranced by Muskoxen.
My apology to Will Rogers ... "I never met a Muskox I didn't like".
These creatures are large and physically intimidating BUT are also gentle and "family" oriented.
Faber's Muskox rings depict the instinctual stance of forming a ring to create a barrier that is had to breach by predators.
Honour, courage, bravery.... these are human values (accepted) but for me, the Muskox Ring is an inspirational physical statement.
As a carver from Greenland, Faber's body of work is outside the traditional norms.
He sees life and his subjects with different eyes.
The Power of One is a motivating force.
A timeless piece.
Is there someone you know who would cherish this unique Faber sculpture?
