The rippling visage of the black stone make this one of the nicest loons I have ever seen by Ningeosiak. Its intensity is sublime to the effervescent glow of luminosity.
Ning Ashoona is the only active female carver from Cape Dorset.
Ningeosiak Ashoona (1979 - )
Influenced by her father Kaka Ashoona, Ningeosiak started to carve around 1988. Her mother is Mayoreak Ashoona.
