Many collectors of Inuit Dancing bears come to the table with very specific expectations about what constitutes a the ideal bear.
They may want only a white Polar bear, or a jet black bear.
For others, the bear must be realistic or a cuddly Teddy bear style.
The colour of this bear is spectacular.
The dark chocolate brown is mixed with black, adorned with a small patch of golden yellow and then wrapped in thin veins of white.
Sometimes the colour of the sculpture is the main event.
But Chocolate is also beautifully posed and the head is strong and nicely pointed toward heaven.
I can depend on Abe Simeonie to carve a magical Dancing bear.
